Barry Greenstein: Most Eminent Poker Player
Barry Greenstein is an American professional poker player and he won several major events which include two on the world poker tour and three at the world series of poker (WSOP). He completed his computer science degree at university of Illinois and eventually finished Ph.D. in mathematics. After that he worked as a software developer in a company but he didn’t continue with that job and he retired in 1991 in his mid 30’s.
He was much interested in poker game during college days and he also played poker games in their college sports events. So he learned poker and he focused more on poker games. Then he played the casino provided cash games, events and various tournament actions. And he started his first world series of poker event live tournament in the year of 1992 and he won more cash prize in that event. And before this, he won the California state poker championship tournament in the year of 1990.
In the year of 2003, Barry won Larry Flynt poker challenge cup, United States poker championship, events at the California state poker championships and Bellagio five-star world poker classic. In 2004, he got the world poker tour jack Binion open’s championship and he also won the title of the year award. He also won the WSOP bracelet in no limit 2-7 draw in 2004. Barry won WSOP pot-limit Omaha in 2005 and WPT invitational in 2006. He also won WSOP seven-card razz in 2008 and his total winning includes the entire live tournament which is of $7,805,558.
Greenstein finishes 12 1st places and he got three WSOP bracelets in all events. After that he won unbelievable awards and poker ranks in the year of 2011. In that year, he played the WPT event season 10 in which he got the 12th place and Greenstein won $2,067 on December 2, 2011. Barry Greenstein is a skilled player and he donates amount to charity.
