PokerStars SuperStar confrontation has been a well known promotion in the last 1 ½ years since this was brought in to grab the of fan’ attentions as these confrontations pit Viktor Blom against anyone feels quite confident to go heads up against Internet poker hotshot. Now, PokerStars has made a brand new high-stakes promotional characteristic, Limit Hold ‘em Challenge to create an interest of poker players in the limit hold ‘em.

Unlike SuperStar battle, in which poker players should step up as well as receive the challenge, in Limit Hold ‘em Challenge, but only invited poker players will have the scope to participate in high stakes battle. The 1st installment happens over the last weekend when PokerStars Pro Negreanu went head to head with a mystery guest called “rUaBot.” Both poker players started with a $75K bankroll as well as set down at 2 heads-up $ 200 - $ 400 limit hold ‘em tables. They were needed to have 1,250 hands or till one player broke.

Unfortunately the poker cards were not in Negreanu’s favor. He has quite a telling $16 million in lifetime event earnings, not to say 4 World Series of Poker bracelets and 2 WPT awards. Ironically Daniel Negreanu began as a specialist limit hold ‘em, but he did not have it on Saturday when Negreanu lost it to the German player rUaBot.

Daniel Negreanu made it via 937 hands when finally he lost the last bankroll. He talked with the German after the match. rUaBot told sorry for that sick run. To which Daniel replied, it is ok just glad its over!
