On October 3rd World Poker Tour made the announcement that National Series Tournament will be in Mainland China for the second time. The tournament will start on November 5th at the MGM Grand Sanya Resort and the guaranteed prize is $1,432,000 and the top pros made commitment are David Chiu, Xuan Liu, Maria Ho, Liz Lieu and Johnny Chan.

The final table of play of the WPT National Tournament will happen on November 9th which will carry a $1,500 buy-in. From this final six players will then go to Jeju, South Korea for the final winner on Dec. 14th. The final table of the WPT South Korea event will be between Dec 15 and Dec 19th and on day 1 it will take place for $3,000 buy-in.

Last year WPT National China Tournament in Sanya Resort attracted some 542 players like Johnny Chan, Wang Feng, McLean Karr and notable Phil Hellmuth. Finally ZhengHua Lei won the trophy and $192,406 by defeating You Jia Wang who won the title and Sam Razavi the poker pro came third.

This year Players can qualify in who are located in the US or can reach in Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood and they can entry into a $10,000 freeroll tournament on Oct. 13th at 2.pm. There the qualifier can win a package of $6,500 for playing in WPT National China Sanya event. Between Oct. 1st and 10th the players need to play live poker for 20 hours at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino of Hollywood.

Players from West Coast region can get entry into the WPT National China Event by winning one of three packages of $5,000 at Commerce Casino’s with $150 buy-in from Megastack tournaments of each Saturday from Oct 12 to 26. The package includes $6,500 each, a round-trip airfare, five night stay at MGM Sanya and entry into the tournament.
